A 700 million euro turnover organisation operating from 16 countries across four continents designing and manufacturing products and components for the Renewables industry. They are looking to appoint a Senior Administrator based in their Milton Keynes offices. You will take responsibility for the whole customer order experience from pre order enquiry through to final on-time and on-cost delivery to the customer.
This position plays a leading role in the businesses administration and customer routines. This is a significant team player role responsible for providing a customer focused and accurate management information service which meets business needs and ensures that accurate financial information is used to inform and challenge management actions and decisions.
AREAS OF RESPONISIBILTIES
To help develop & grow the business:
To provide support to Account Managers and MD in order to achieve sales and profit targets
To manage incoming calls in the appropriate manner:
By displaying commercial awareness: asking the right questions; qualify leads and identify correct sales route for each enquiry.
By developing excellent product knowledge
To provide sales administration support:
By collating information to aid pre-sales: Pricing, availablilty, delivery, using interface with AG - CDN
By ensuring that all sales quotes, orders and customer data are correctly processed in Navision.
By ensuring that the customer is either given credit, or is processed as a pro-forma customer.
By ensuring products are correctly ordered from AG
By ensuring products are delivered by monitoring delivery times and keeping customer informed of delivery dates.
By chasing overdue payments, placing customers on stop if necessary
To provide periodic reporting:
By informing Management of weekly order and invoice activity
By ensuring month end information is produced in accordance with group reporting deadlines
To offer after sales support:
By processing claims
By processing orders for spare parts and replacements
By dealing with requests for further technical information
Daily:
Pre-order: Handling customer enquiries on telephone or via Account Manager. Liaising with AG and sales team re. pricing, availability, freight charges (CDN) Customer credit account process.
Sales order processing: from quote to invoice. Navision. Account queries, credit control, Returns and credits.
Purchase order processing: Placing orders on parent company.
Logistics: manage delivery process. Customer liaison re delivery dates. Investigate late deliveries.
Customer services: Product information, Claims handling, relationship building
Administrative support: Provide sales, commercial and administrative support to UK sales team
Continuous improvement
Weekly:
Support Sales Team in production of weekly forecast, updating CDN and allocation requirements based on forecast.
Other:
Ad hoc statistical analysis of all aspects of the business.
