Milton Keynes - With an enviable client list within this market sector and extensive knowledge in house, this innovative creative agency have a strong desire to maximise the existing opportunities and develop new relationships within the Hotel and Leisure market whilst supporting the increasing workload within existing clients.


As ever, the challenges this agency undertakes are very diverse and range from increasing occupancy within the hotel chains they represent to creating an enhanced experience within their breakfast, receptions and guest bedroom areas, through their interior design and communication skills – Internal communications, Exhibitions and various digital based projects also form part of the marketing mix.


The ideal candidate will have at least five years marketing experience within this market sector (Hotels being the key area). We are happy to look at agency or client side experience.


Ideally the successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of areas such as
Reservation systems
Customer Acquisition and Retention
Business Customers V General Public
Food and beverage and the importance it plays within the business
The customer journey within the hotel environment
Cross and upselling products and services
Internal communications
Training and much more.


A good knowledge of the Leisure sector – Conferencing. Hospitality / Leisure parks / etc etc would be a great benefit.


Skills
Marketing qualification (CIM)
IT - Good knowledge of Powerpoint / Word / Excel / Basecamp Databases and CRM


Proven ability to spot an opportunity, be proactive and the desire to progress to an Account Director.


Good knowledge of digital technology and digital marketing.


The ability to work as an individual, work as part of a team and direct more junior staff.


Experience of working practices that professionally run a clients account eg.– Creative Brief Writing / Status reports / Planning / Estimating /  Invoicing / Responsibility for profitability etc etc etc


Methodical, Organised with the ability to run several projects and clients at the same time – The workload is a busy one


The ability to work closely with the creative team on ideas / managing the client brand / corporate guidelines.


Strong presentation skills.


A strong desire to achieve, ability to build strong client relationship, personable
