This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious & enthusiastic individual to join a blue chip automotive company to develop the CRM programme at a critical time for the brand.


You’ll be the guardian of the voice, passionate about the written word and have an instinctive empathy with the customer base.  Through the implementation of our prospect and customer journey communications programme you’ll develop creative communications through email, direct mail, new formats and have responsibility for the customer magazine.


Key Tasks:


Contribute to, develop and implement the long term strategy for customer loyalty communications and prospecting.


Contribute to the development and implementation of a sophisticated customer segmentation and data profiling strategy.


Develop the prospect management programme encompassing re-solicitation, re-qualification, e-Newsletter, direct mail and lead follow-up.


Progression of all customer journeys to include more targeted timely communications via email and direct mail, maximising creativity and commerciality.


Production and development of all current trigger based mailings carrying appropriate messages to targeted prospects and customers.


Management of the quarterly Magazine & e-Magazine in order to increase engagement and response.


Management of the quarterly Magazine into digital formats including Ipad & Iphone, focusing on driving up audience numbers and awareness.


Oversee the new product launch customer journey communications plans which include on-line surveys, segmentation identification, new segment prospecting activity, launch invites and follow-up activities.


Work with Marketing Manager to support tactical events with appropriate and measured direct communications, with the objective to demonstrate a direct impact on ROI.


Deliver effective Aftersales direct communications to increase service retention within segment 1 and 2, and brand loyalty.


Deliver effective and timely Accessories, Merchandise and Events direct communications.


Management of the brochure fulfilment messages, accurately reflecting the current business initiatives, price changes and new models in a timely manner.


Take ownership of all briefing processes to the creative agency and to the data agency, including reviewing and consulting on the data briefs with internal stakeholders.


Provide full post campaign data analysis on campaigns to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.


Evaluate the effectiveness of all activity and develop a “test and learn” culture.


Act as an ambassador for CRM in the brand widely communicating programmes, activity and results to internal and external stakeholders.


Manage the CRM budget, circa £3m, ensuring best practice supplier management and procurement of all material.


Person Specification:


Confident approach to agency management with the ability to lead and inspire agency teams


Highly organised individual, with the flexibility to project manage and prioritise numerous, complex projects at one time


Ability to take on additional responsibility in order to react to urgent business requirements


Comfortable reading large amounts of copy, articulating clear feedback and making changes where appropriate.


Strong creative judgement – the ability to recognise on / off brand communications with a passion for perfection.


Ability to consider data requirements and complexities as well as interpret statistical results


Commercially astute, ideally with experience launching initiatives


Effective decision making when working under pressure to tight deadlines


Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to gain commitment and approval from senior levels of the business and agency stakeholders.


Aptitude for efficient budgetary management


A proactive and enthusiastic individual keen to work in a close knit, ambitious team
