Working for a growing independent marketing agency that specialises in digital engagement based in the Northants / Beds area.

You will be a Web Designer with experience designing attractive, functional websites and digital applications. You should ideally have 2-3 years in front-end development and design and ideally a solid portfolio of work; this is the ideal role for a graduate with relevant experience or a committed enthusiast looking to gain further commercial experience.

You will be passionate about digital technologies, self motivated, ambitious and most importantly you must be eager to learn

Technically candidates will have good knowledge and experience of the following:

• XHTML

• CSS

• Familiarity with JavaScript/jQuery

• Photoshop

• Illustrator

You should also have good written and verbal communication skills as you will need to liaise regularly with clients via email and on the telephone.

Abreast of latest technologies and online web design trends, you should also possess good organisational and planning skills - ability to manage own work schedule and ensure that deadlines are met.

Your main responsibilities will include building web sites and website templates in XHTML and CSS, developing bespoke Content Managed websites for clients and ongoing support and maintenance tasks for customers.

There is genuine support and on going training in all aspects of creating and building top-notch websites.
