Main Function of the Job
The main function of the Qualification Technician role is to support the Qualification Engineer with qualification and testing of products.
Responsibilities include -
Qualification
Support Qualification Engineer with:
- Product Qualification in the UK and China
- Provision of support with specific and qualification issues
- Production of Qualification Test Plans
- Specification of qualification test methods and test jigs
- Test, measurement, inspection and photography of qualification products
- Recording and maintenance of qualification results/data
- Development of spreadsheets for processing and presenting test results/data
- Analysis of test results and production of summary reports on qualification tests
- Attending Qualifications Committee Meetings (QCMs) as required
- Production of Qualification reports
General
- Attend product/process design reviews as required
- Continually seek opportunities to improve Time to Market (TTM) and qualification process
Health and Safety
Take care of self and others at all times to meet statutory requirements.
Routine Responsibilities and Reporting
Produce monthly progress report for Qualification Engineer
