Consider this your invitation to get to know our folks and get a glimpse of our haunted digs.

Steeped in history, Manor Farm built in 1650 is located in the village of Lavendon which is an interesting and colourful place and reflects the history of England post the Norman Conquest.

We believe we have seven former occupants present at Manor Farm. And with numerous owners and guests having experienced hauntings on a number of occasions during there time here, including Sam, there are many tales of the paranormal, ghosts, chilling experiences and the unexplained that we can share...

Who Are We?

We're The Recruitment Hub, we do recruitment – We're a full-service recruitment agency in Buckinghamshire with happy and successful clients all across the UK.

Essentially, we believe recruitment is not a complex task, but let's just say there are those of us who make a good job of it, and those who appear not to have grasped the idea fully.

We believe we are an exceptional team that works hard to do things the right way, have fun doing it, and make it painless for you.

The Cast of Characters

The Recruitment Hub was started by the original Hubster Sam Cunningham who is supported by an experienced financial and administrative back office team.

A Bit About Sam Cunningham

"I began my recruitment career in 1989 with HMS Recruitment; the national recruitment agency which became the training ground for many of today's recruitment leaders. In 1992 I established a sales and technical recruitment business and from a standing start, took the business to over £1m in the first three years of trading."

"With full operational and profit responsibility for the Recruitment Hub, I am a lead player in senior commercial appointments and obsessed with exceeding clients' expectations and committed to delivering value. The Recruitment Hub's culture is built upon it."

A Bit About Helen Donaghy

"During my varied and exciting career in business and people management, I have an in depth understanding of how businesses are run at all levels regardless of size or type including FTSE 100, mid cap, SMEs, innovative start ups and specialist consultancies. With client side experience within a FTSE 100 company, I have recruited and managed a variety of teams from graduate trainees to senior executives through to specialist functions. With my past experience as a hiring manager, I fully understand the importance of innovation, competitiveness, flexibility and a strong partnership approach to recruitment"

A Bit About Kate Tyrrell

"I joined The Recruitment Hub in 2010 and have brought over ten years of recruitment experience. I regularly appoint candidates across Sales, Marketing and Finance from graduate entry level to board level appointments.

Accustomed to achieving service level agreements and performance criteria, I am experienced in developing client relationships, identifying client requirements and competency needs, and implementing recruitment solutions to meet timescales and budgets.

I enjoy walking my dog Rufus, pub quizzes, cooking and reading a huge variety of books..."

I believe in good planning, hard work, transparency and communication.

I love to gather market intelligence and always keep myself abreast of the latest industry news, ideas and trends. I like to share my knowledge of the wider recruitment market with our clients to help solve recruitment issues and attract people with sufficient talent and vision.

We believe in beauty and brains

Born in Aspley Guise in February 2009, we are sisters and orphans. Raised by novice shepherdesses Sam and Gina, we had no problems not having a mum to hang around with. We have grazed at Manor Farm since we were 3 weeks old. We stated off in the kitchen for overnight protection and then progressed to the chicken run. Now probably weighing in at 50kg and still growing, we have our own beds and shelter outside the farm house. We took a while to get weaned off the 4 bottles of milk each a day until we discovered we could eat grass, hedges, hay and lamb pellets.
